The TD-160 fan housing is made of plastic. The housing consists of a mounting rail with two spigots and a motor which is connected to the spigots by quick-release clamps. The design allows the motor section to be removed without having to disconnect the ducting.

With AC motors with dual winding the speed is switched in two stages using REGUL 2 or COM 2 controllers or by changing the voltage with REB controllers (smooth control) or REV (five-stage control).

Fan installation is possible in any position. The housing must not transmit mechanical stress from the ducting. It is necessary to use a flexible connection to the ducting.
