LOCTITE® 290 Threadlocker

This thin low-viscosity threadlocker is designed to flow into difficult-to-reach cracks and crevices making it ideal for locking preassembled fasteners.

LOCTITE® 290 is a green medium-high strength threadlocker developed for locking and sealing threaded fasteners. Its low viscosity allows it to wick between engaged threads by capillary action eliminating the need for disassembly before application.

This product is also suitable for sealing porosities in welds castings and powdered metal parts. The anaerobic adhesive cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces preventing loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration.
